Hey guys, I really like my 16 gt, but with the recent insurance increase am considering other rides like maybe a ecoboost. After a search I came across a 2017 Roush RS and really like the looks of it. Just wonder why they don't offer a dealer installed supercharger on it for say 5k more or so? Something like the deal with the supercharged gt for 40k.

Because Ford made the V6 the redheaded stepchild of Mustangs. If you want it you have to do it yourself.

Have you checked what the insurance price would be with the V6? I doubt it will make since financially once you figure out the depreciation hit you will take on your 2 year old GT. The Roush RS is pretty cool though and I believe they come with the 3.55 gears which the V6 likes.

S/C V6 would be making GT numbers while costing significantly more to produce. I don't even think Roush has a s/c option for the V6 cyclone. I don't doubt that the V8 is killing you insurance wise, it's one of the huge reasons I got the V6, but FI on a V6 isn't just plug and play. You're gonna need a new clutch, drive shaft, injectors, a tune and probably some more stuff. It's honestly not worth it in my opinion. It completely kills all the value proposition of the V6.
