I would bet mostly driver error, he seemed to be fighting the rear end before the heavy turn in to the wall.

I race at this track here in Oklahoma... it was a no prep night, as soon as he started loosing control he shoulda have just left off completely... it sucks. But, no prep + street tires? :[

What about stock street tires? On the street and doing powershifts could you get into trouble this way?

Yeah you could. Drag Radials or Slicks are needed for the power he was putting down. If you've ever had your rear end start slipping and your car begins to go sideways slightly, generally your natural reaction is to let off the gas and let the car correct its self naturally. This wasnt the case really.

What about a stock gt mustang on stock tires doing power shifts on the street could it get you in trouble?

Google (or do a youtube search) for Mustang fail compilation. Draw your own conclusions why this happens...
