Regardless if you work on your Mustang or other vehicles - who is your go to source for replacement parts?

I'm between Advance and AutoZone. I used to get parts from RockAuto, but last couple of times the items received were wrong and it's more of a hassle with the return than the lower cost is worth...

Depends on what I'm buying. Oil filters and other scheduled maintenance items, I buy a year or two worth at Rock Auto. Save a good chunk of money this way.

I never deal with Advance / Auto Zone - with the exception of OEM quality parts where Advance can order it and I can use a readily available 20% off coupon. Otherwise it's Amazon / Rock Auto etc.

I've used Ebay too. Depends on what I need, how fast I need / want it and whether it's aftermarket upgrade or OEM quality.

The only time I received the wrong part from Rock Auto, it was the wrong part in the right box. They shipped out the correct part the same day I received the wrong one and just told me to keep the other one. Granted it was only a $30 part........

I never buy parts chain brand brakes / alternators / starters etc. The "Lifetime" warranty just isn't worth it. Went through three different alternators on a GM truck years ago. All from the Zone or Advance. All warrantied. Returned the third one for refund and bought a new AC Delco. Never touched it again.

Many times they come from the same factory - it's the QC that's normally different. That's just my experience / opinion.
