Who's ordered a 2017

I would like a place for those that have ordered or are going to order a 2017 350 to post 2017 specific updates regarding order progression , building and delivery.

Here is my question :

I placed an order 4/15/16.

I Have my order conf # , and dealer # but nothing shows up on Cotus. I called ford and they said the order is in the Cotus system and labeled as "processing".

Is anyone else here who ordered a 2017 able to see it in Cotus ?

What part of Ford did you call? I would like to confirm also .

I placed my order with my dealer on 4/12 as well. I was told to expect to take delivery sometime in Dec. Does anyone have any idea when production will start on the 2017? I'm hearing conflicting stories. Some say June 2 and some say sometime in July.

At this point you have to agree on a price with the dealer for there allocation, likely put down a big chunk of change then have the dealer order the car to your specifications.

The Dealer told me the first production date for 2017 is June 2.

That is the Mustang production date. Shelby's are likely to start some time after that - some have said up to two months.

BTW, I placed my order on the 15th and only have a VOC so far.

I placed mine on the 4-14-16 and the dealer said the order hasn't been accepted ford yet.

He also said the order banks opened up 3-4 days earlier.

I have an order number and I put a deposit down for one of his allocations.

My order [900A, Ox-White-YZ, Electronics-67T, Blue-OTT-47S, Cover-21S] is being completed today by the dealership's performance products specialist. The sales manager indicated the order is likely to be picked up in June for production. Had my deposit with them since last December.

Now, if I were a betting man, they didn't receive their 2016 MY car until late January, so my guess is...the wait is on!

It's been some time since I've ordered a car new from Ford...I'll have to figure out all the details on order tracking now!

I'd place an order right now if I knew of a dealer that would do it at MSRP. I have started calling dealers in an ever widening circle from me. I have a feeling the car is going to come from Oklahoma.
