It’s just the trial unit that’s been running around for awhile now.

Can anyone confirm if Australia gets the clear indicator headlights this time around?

They're clear. All the MY18 EU/AU models still have clear, non-sequential rear lights.

Many imported cars have the Handbrake on the left side of the Centre Console.

My sons Mitsubishi Evo has the Handbrake on the left side of the Centre Console.

The same as many European Cars sold in Australia have the Indicator Controls on the left side of the Steering Wheel and the Wiper Controls on the right side of the Steering wheel.

Why though? Isn't it just a mirrored?
They could have change the hand break to a button on the left :frusty:

There are previous threads on this issue from about 2 years ago.

The Hand Brake is mechanical, not electrical operated like some cars are.

To re-route the mechanical components of the Hand Brake for the Right Hand Drive was going to be a major design issue, eg. headers and oil cooler issues..

What I find more inconvienent is the hood opening handle to be on the left, (passenger side).

I like the handbrake on the left it’s out of the way of my thigh when you I’m cruising long distances. I tend to lean my leg on the console when I’m not pushing the clutch. My Skoda has it there too.

It isn’t like you have to lean across to reach it it’s more like turning your arm 5 degrees to the left.

As mentioned the bonnet release bent on the left is more of a pain in the butt although again my Skoda has it in the same place too. And the Skoda has the blinker and wipers opposite to the stang also. Really it’s all minor stuff compared to owning the car.

Look i can only go by my Mustang but once you see it, sit in it and press the start button you won't give a shit about the handbrake and bonnet opening switch. Seriously these cars rock
