Ok but you're paying for LEDs that will not be lighting up. Just saying it's not the right bulb type.

I went with what Superbright said would work best and, they do. That is all that matters.

Just got the pair of LED bulbs from eBay. No mention of being CANbus on the box though :(. Will find out shortly if they work, and post results. I say no freaking way they're 1K+ lumens with those tiny LEDs, like they claim, but as long as they're silghtly brighter than stock... AND work properly, I'd be satisfied :). What I liked is they're quite small; actually smaller than the stock bulb, compared to the sausage the last one was. Ha ha.

Hey guys, tried the bulb, and it's not CANbus, so it lights up too :(. Always the same crap on eBay. Oh well. But I don't think our cars need a CANbus bulb indeed. If I turn on the V1, it doesn't work... but that's when the bulb lights up partially. If I turn the detector off, the bulb also turns completely off. Weird, huh? Since I have the V1 connected to the reverse ground, it must be back-feeding a little voltage to the reverse light, but since the bulb doesn't have internal resistors, it turns on partially. But the weird thing is that the V1 doesn't turn on with a regular LED bulb. I already ordered another V1 cable, and will redo the wiring, with the correct ground this time, and hopefully that'll be the end of my troubles... and no more V1 turning off in reverse too :). Will keep you posted in about 2 weeks. I'm leaving town to get holed up in another house with my wife and daughters for a week+.

Oh, below is a picture of the 3 bulbs I promised you. I'm going to leave the eBay one, which is the smallest, and probably the brightest too. Wish there was a bulb without the stupid yellow squares at the top (so visible from behind), but all I've seen do, either with, or without, a clear dome. Oh well. Not a big deal, but just looks non-OEM.
