03Reptile...When did you place you order?
Order placed 02/08/2019. Track your vehicle shows in production since 03/22/2018. No other new info, to date. Shows estimated time of arrival as this Wednesday (4/10/19) !!! Operative word here is "estimated"!! LOL! I think Ill be lucky to get it before May. There seems to be a hold up in shipping these cars out. Mine has to go on a rail car to Maryland, so I think I'm in for a wait.

I called Ford and told them to drop ship my car without the steering wheel and Cup 2's if necessary. They had a good laugh. Ford would be better off getting their steering wheels in the future from Guatemala. Just saying.

The whole steering wheel issue sounds like a bad joke.
I wish it was!

Sorry for the delay guys been busy I’ll post more specific pics people want when I have time. I don’t have any pics on me but in direct sunlight the color is stunning it really is Lightning Blue with more pearl in it giving it almost a candy silver metallic sheen to it.

Velocity blue is stunning in the sun.. Saw one last weekend with ceramic coating and it really popped the paint and depth of shine.
We got notified that our car had been loaded on the train car and will be chugging toward Fla.. Also, placed request for no-wash by dealer, and be present for prep. Dealer is fine with it..
We are ready to clean and prep the car, paint sealant, then 845 wax over. Will be garaged.
Wait a little more..

Looks Great...Congrats!!

I just locked in an order last week for a 2019 GT350.....

Ruby Red
Black/Magnetic Stripes
Electronics Package
Carbon Fiber Instrument panel
Leather Seats (Non-Recaro)

When did you order yours? I know there is a lot of delays going on for many reasons including the steering wheel issue so I am just trying to get an idea of how long. I am certainly in no rush but as these orders start being delivered I'm just wondering how long it took people to get their cars. The gurney flap is quite the interesting question but that's awesome you got it!! We need some very sunshiny pics!!!!!

Best of Luck with it!!!

The order went through and confirmed in Fords system with a priority 10 on Jan 15th. My car went into production 2/26 (I assume before the steering wheel shortage happened) and got delivered late in the day 4/3.

I placed my order on 3/8/19. I'm in the same boat as others on the thread waiting for the 2nd allocation for my dealership. I messaged Ford Performance via chat since I've been gone on vacation for the last week and a half. When I asked before I left they said, unscheduled clean. Today, they said "Materials Hold". My impression of those words would indicate it had something to do with my order. I asked Tom at FP chat if this was just mine or was he speaking 'in general' and he said this is normal for a GT350 order. I'm waiting to follow up with my dealer on Friday - any others understand what this means specifically?

ask your dealer... I still think it's solely for the dealers internal use, but Tim's dealer says Ford assigned it... so no clue!
I just ordered a 2019 GT350 yesterday and the order number was made at the dealer level. Mine is J001. J being the initial of my name and the number 001. I was told it could be anything I want, (1 character and 3 numbers), or they would just make one up. Don't think it has any correlation to anything, other than a note at the dealer level.

I ordered mine April 1st with an order number of "G200". In reading other posts it doesn't sound like there is any kind of real significance to this number. I do know however that on my order it will be built in Job #2 so I assume that is going to take some time since I believe they are still in Job #1 plus they have a million steering wheels to install, quality checks...etc.

Probably a long wait but it will be awesome when it shows up!

Looks like the 2019s are starting to show up at the dealers. Another one according to the Ford Inventory site. This one is at Santa Margarita Ford.
There is a 2019 on the show room floor at Auffenberg Ford, O'Fallon, IL. Its exactly the way I would have ordered it. Luckily, I was able to order one at a dealer that received a surprise allocation and I sent my deposit yesterday. Hope to join in and send my updates to this room very soon. I was told production run will be in May with a delivery sometime in August or possibly September. I've been waiting since 2015, so I believe I will have no problem waiting for this one!

According to Kyle at Ford, my car just passed through the trim line and should finish tonight or tmrw a day a head of schedule and should land at the dealership May 6. He claims it's one of the earliest R's to be finished.:flag:
