No TSB for it. Yes they remove the leather seat covers and replace with brand new ones that took a few weeks to get in

Stains from the sweat of Chinese children manning the stitching machines. Normal condition.

I just noticed I also do have this same problem in both seats.... This as other mentioned is complete BS for a $44k car.... I don't think this would be happening with and Audi or MB. With that I will be contacting my dealer that has all ready giving me problems covering the warranty .... My question is "how long until the replacment covers turn color??"

I don't think the stitching changed color. To me it looked like the spool of thread had rust or something on it when the vendor stitched the covers.
I hate to say but maybe you should try another dealer for warranty work. I had to do this before when I had a F-250. One dealer treated me completely different than the other and they were only 20 miles apart. Customer no-service.

our stitching issue was noticed when we went to pick up her car at dealer. The dealer took pics and said the would replace the seat covers which took a month to get in. they only guarantee they wouldn't offer is the fitment onto the seats and could be loose looking. Glad that didn't happen and have a disagreement with them.

I just took pictures and sent it to my dealership, my discoloration was located on the seat back near where the back meets the bun. Looked like it's greasy and it's on both drivers and passenger side, not cleanable :(

I had mine done and they told me the same thing. I can't tell a difference, and the new ones look great. The reason they tell you that is because the factory has a machine that does it, where the dealer has to do it by hand. I guess they're covering themselves in case you don't like them.

Seems like the seat covers fit a bit loose anyway from the factory. Well if somebody takes the time, I've recovered few seats in my day and it's possible. Plus, mine are a bit loose from the factory it maybe a better fitment if somebody takes the time to do it.

Sounds like they were preparing you for the worst. No excuse not to do it right this time of the year with all of this heat we have. Put that cover out in the sun for 5 min and it will go on!
Here's a set I did. My first attempt ever. If I can do it, a trained tech that does this for a living can do it.
