Hello all,

I have an Ecoboost Auto. Recently I went to a muffler shop and did a muffler replacement. The people at the muffler shop told me that their muffler is similar to Flowmaster so I assumed that the mufflers would be reliable. After a few days of driving, I noticed that while idling (with AC on) white smoke would come out of the exhaust. Also, while idling, the exhaust smoke smells like chemicals..
Does anybody know what's going on? Please let me know,

Thank you all, appreciate it!

Short version:
Step 1. You need an oil catch can with check valve (like the UPR dual valve or buy another brand and a check valve separately)
Step 2. You need to gut your PCV valve after installing the catch can w/ check valve.

Ive never owned a turbo car but I did have a straight pipe 5.0 2011 GT and it "smoked" like a banshee at idle especially on cold mornings

However, the smoke was condensate and was amplified due to the larger pipes and high flow catalytic converters.

I read some of that thread with the bolts and turbo seals. I think you need to ID if the "smoke" is condensate or internal combustion of some type of fluid. My guess is that you've now opened up your exhaust chambers and its just condensate.

The chemical smell should go away, its whatever preservatives they put on the exhaust at the factory. Those straight pipes smelled like a chemical warzone when i put them on for a good few tanks of gas before it all went away.
