If you get the "green" cats you will not get the CEL

They cost more but I was told by kooks they flow the same as the hi-flo cats so there is no loss of HP.

I know it's cheaper to get cheaters but I can honestly tell you the green cats work 100% of the time. Definitely worth it in my book.

The jump in price to go up to green cats just doesn't seem fair lol It is worth it I guess to truly ensure no CEL. Just seems unfair to jump that much in price, just for different cats. The jump in price from zero cats, to catted I get. But the jump from catted to green catted is very excessive to me. That being said, if i bought Kooks, i'd buy the stupid green cats I guess lol

Price is high I agree but I'm no engineer so I can't speak to what justifies the hike in price over traditional hi-Flow cats.

I look at it this way, money well spent if emissions is important to you. I've spent serious money on performance parts and upgrades so why skimp now lol.

lol I hear ya man. Emissions really isn't all that important to me, other than I don't wanna deal with a CEL. I think for what I wan't out of my car, I am just gona stick with stock parts down to the cat back for now. I won't be playing around much above 6500 rpms anyways. So they will be a bit of a waste for me right now.

I think the green cats will come welded to the pipe already. Should be just a swap out with the o/r pipe you have now.

I installed my ARH headers today, for those running the angled foulers did you have to use rear O2 extensions? If so who sells them?
