Are you serious, I can't run E85 in Cali? Man this is terrible! Plus the whipple kit for 22-23 Mach 1 still NOT legal in Cali (only the 2021 😐 )

Yea from what i heard no one will send tunes to Ca for E85. That sucks on the Mach 1 kit.

Being quoted 20 hrs for whipple
And 7 hrs for opg/cg= 27hrs

Those numbers look "reasonable" as far as hours. I've heard a competent shop can do the Whipple in 12-15 hours and the timing set should be about 6 hours.

Yea i was curious as well. I can only run 91 out here and don't want any fuel issues. I know the 18-21s kit come with a BAP. Maybe being direct and port injection is the reason for that idk.
Hey @Kong76, so with the Whipple calibration that comes with the stage 2 kit, you don't necessarily NEED a BAP, but it's not bad to have one. The Whipple tune is not super aggressive, so you won't lean out in the top end like you might with a custom tune through a third party. Overall, you should be fine, if you have any questions let me know or reach out to us here at Lethal Performance and we'll be glad to help.

I will need a clutch prob very soon after.
If you're looking for a quality twin disc to hold that power, we've got plenty of great options here like Mantic, Vengeance Clutches, McLeod, our own LPXHD clutches, and more. Let me know what you're looking for and I can set you up.

stage 2 with oversized heat exchanger, boundary oil pump gears and housing and the CG
The only other thing is going a step colder on your spark plugs, so going with the NGK 6510s that you can find here. The next step I would recommend working on is suspension components (if you haven't already, I'm not sure) to get that new power to the road. This is an overall solid build and is going to be very fun, so congrats, enjoy it, and keep us updated!
