Whipple install (P2112 DTC CODE)

Hey guys,

Anyone run into this? Installed everything, flashed the tune, crank relearn, went to do a pull and it goes into limp mode and throws this code.

It happens on decel, and then sputters out like the throttle body is shut. 132mm TB. Whipple tune/kit.

Ideas?

quick google search says throttle issue for that code, so I would double check all your connections at the throttle body first

Did that, ran it, it threw it again, cleared it. Checked it, burnt ourselves, and rechecked everything again. All the connections are on there fine.

From all my internet hunting it seems like P2112 is sort of a mysterious code that happens with aftermarket throttle bodies but I can't find any data from 15's hitting this issue. Was hoping someone had run into it.

P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Stuck Closed​

This DTC sets when the fault status indicates the throttle plate is at a lower angle than commanded.​

Possible Causes:​

• Throttle body stuck closed​

Throttle body stuck binding​

TACM+ circuit open​

TACM- circuit open​

•​

​

​

​

TACM+ and TACM- circuits are cross wired​

Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory​

All GO to Pinpoint Test DV.

Try reflashing again. You can also remove throttle body, or at least the air tube and see if the throttle body blade has any movement issues.
