Hey all,

I had the UPR Whipple catch can setup, but switched to a non return style setup. My driver and passenger side routes to a catch can sitting in my passenger side of the car.

Couple questions:

1) I have a filter that replaced my oil cap, but keep getting blow by when under high boost. I see oil on my valve cover (a little) and hate that. Is there any benefit to using a filter in place of oil cap?

2) I blocked off the passenger port in my whipple and don't have that running down to my catch can. Are there any issues with that in regards to breathability?

Thanks in advance.

If your running a filter instead of the oil cap and your UPR catch can is not going the Whipple barb that is a vacuum port then your catch can isn't really doing anything at all. Why did you choose to run it that way? seems your defeating the purpose of the catch can. Also be sure if you reconnect the catch can to the whipple vac port you either replace the oil cap or use a UPR style breather there with the one way check valve in it. Otherwise with an open breather and catch can connected to the whipple vac port you will have an air leak or unlettered air.
