Whipple Belt Routing

Wasn't there a change at some point to how the belt is routed on the motor? Right now mine is routed so that it makes contact on both sides of the water pump, which seems odd.

That's the normal way. They tried a re route at one time to try to eliminate belt squeal but it didn't make a difference. They ultimately found out it was a misalignment of the post in the idler bracket causing the problem and revised that.

I love it, I've been through a bunch of different clutches in a bunch of different mustangs over the years and this is by far the best.
