  1. Why no per gear tuning except whipple?

It is per se. Not really though. You don’t get to choose what boost you want to be at per gear, just how much percentage of power you want to reduce each gear by. Depending on what pulley you’re running and your engine combination, my -20% reduction will be different than yours and so on. Seems...
  2. Why no per gear tuning except whipple?

I know Lund was working on something like it for a while, not sure if it ever took off. It may have something to do with the tables that can be modified by aftermarket tuners vs tables that can be modified or added entirely by Ford, which is who built the Whipple tune. They have access to...
  3. e85 injectors

Since the GT350 pumps are designed to run returnless, is it really necessary to run a return line and regulator? Would just the pump and injector swap suffice? Does the fuel line size make a difference whether or not is return/returnless style? Seems if the stock line is big enough to supply...
  4. Minimum Clutch Breakin with FI? Track Tomorrow

It’s more about clutch cycling than mileage. I can’t remember exactly but I think it’s something like 1000 clutch engagements. If you were in traffic for most or all of that 100 miles I believe you’re good to go. I also had about 100 miles on mine once it started to feel broken in. It’s almost...
  5. Corsa Sport Axleback with H-pipe = Xtreme with less rasp

Sounds awesome man! I have the same setup and get a lot of compliments. I'm about to do the ARH long system with the h pipe and no cats, hopefully it doesn't cause any permanent hearing damage.
  6. CEL Blinking After Whipple Supercharger Install

You can an do your own crank relearn with the flare program Russ. It very easy, turn on profile learning and follow the instructions on the screen. Takes a few seconds and makes a lot of noise.
  7. CEL Blinking After Whipple Supercharger Install

You'll need to get a set of 90s from Big Daddies Garage since you're still on the Whipple tune. Just get the basic 90, you don't need the mini cats. Not sure this will solve your misfire, but you will probably keep getting the cat efficiency code without these anyway. Seems to be just about any...
  8. CEL Blinking After Whipple Supercharger Install

Hey Russ, I had the issue with mine also when it was new. Did 2 crank relearns and still had intermittent misfire codes, but only at 3/4 throttle or more. I closed up the spark plug gap to .028 and never had another issue. Not saying he didn't check the gap in the plugs, but that's what solved...
  9. Anyone Making a Good Active Exhaust for 2015-2017 GT's???? or Just Roush?

Remus and Armytrix both make active exhaust. They sound awesome, but they are expensive. These brands cater to high end Italian and German cars but I guess they decided to dabble in Mustangs.
  10. My Whipple Stage 2 results on mustang dyno

Quickly flipping the switch only turns "Traction Control Off" , but if you hold the toggle up for a few seconds it will read "Advance Trac Off". With advance trac off you can dyno your car all day long without it try to pull power.
  11. Dyno Prep - What to pull/set car to?

I've never pulled any fuses to dyno my car. Just turn advance track all the way off. Works fine...
  12. Whipple Belt Routing

I love it, I've been through a bunch of different clutches in a bunch of different mustangs over the years and this is by far the best.
  13. Whipple Belt Routing

That's the normal way. They tried a re route at one time to try to eliminate belt squeal but it didn't make a difference. They ultimately found out it was a misalignment of the post in the idler bracket causing the problem and revised that.
  14. Meth Injected and Whipple Charged

In this case he's not using the meth as a fuel supplement. It's strictly being used for evaporative cooling, more like a intercooler supplement. He sent me the first 10 or so logs he's made with the kit while we dial in the ramp rate of the meth. His logs show .73-.72 lambda, that's anywhere...
  15. Mantic Series 9000 Twin Disk Cerametallic Clutch Install

It has been a little while, but I remember it being either 500 miles or 1000 clutch engagements, whichever comes first. It's definitely easier to just watch the odometer than trying to count how many times you pressed the clutch pedal. I sat in bumper to bumper traffic for 3 days in a row on my...
  16. What brand oil are you using?

Joe Gibbs DRIVEN FR20 and a reusable stainless K&N filter.
  17. Mantic Series 9000 Twin Disk Cerametallic Clutch Install

So a quick review of mine. It has been in since last November. It's the cerametalic version. Slips easier than stock. I can drive up my inclined driveway without any throttle input. No chatter on startup or idle, no chatter while driving with the exception of bogging the motor a little bit...
  18. Whipple + Stock Clutch

I read all of my Mantic reviews on the GM forums. They are pretty popular with that crowd and only recently started making Ford offerings, thus the limited info. But the way I figured it, Mantic will build their clutch to their quality standards no matter what type of car it's going in, so...
  19. Whipple + Stock Clutch

My Mantic engages smoother than stock. It's not remotely grabby. I also have the ceramatallic version which is the more aggressive offering. I was willing to sacrifice a little, but was pleasantly surprised.
  20. Whipple + Stock Clutch

My stock clutch was fine as long as I had the factory Pirellis. They would just go up in smoke before the clutch had a chance to slip. Once I installed the Michelin Sport Cup 2s it lasted me about 500 miles. I made a 3rd gear stab, pulled to 7500 and didn't even get into 4th before I heard it...
