Shopping between these two tires for my 2002 F150. 1/2 ton truck, no cosmic towing or anything special. Just normal driving with the occasional tow or haul stuff.

The two tires are the exact same tire (leaving out brand and model so we stay on target, since I’m not looking for opinions on the tire itself), and exact same dimensions. Only difference is load rating type stuff….

34x12.50x18LT > Load range E > 121R

LT305/65R18 > Load range E > 124/121R

Both load range E, both posted as “light truck” (except for where the letters LT are in the title; don’t know what difference that would make).

What else would you use to choose between the two? Thanks guys.

Oh, I am getting new wheels at the same time, so I am not committed to a 18” wheel. Just chose 18” based off looks. So I would take opinions on going 18” wheel on a truck with all terrain tires.

Go with the 34 inch option. Bigger and wider look better on a truck. Stay away from mud terrain tires. There noisy and overkill for most truck owners.

Uummmm…Thanks for replying...I think??? You didn't really read the post, did you (the part where I posted the specs on both tires are identical)? They are both 34" options.

Yea I read your post and the sizes are not identical. Close only works in horse shoes and hand Grenades. But it’s your truck. So who really Fucking cares what you do? I was just trying to be nice when I replied. Seeing no one else cared enough to waste their time replying to your thread.

Yup, calculators are cool, but they're generic; the manufacturer says they are within 1/10" of each other. And I will apologize as maybe I should have been even a little more specific. The difference between the two tires is in the load ratings. What would drive that?
