I’ve been using the Ford Performance FL820 for a couple oil changes now. The filter holds more than the stock one and fits without issues even on a PP car.So I stumbled on this thread searching for M-6731-FL820 info, as this threads now so old, I assume there should be sufficient reviews ?

I want to be 100% sure I understand what base end means. Every other reference I find for valve locations refer to threaded end or dome end. which of those is also called the base end?* Relief Valve Location - base end
