So I'm looking into installing a pair of 2.5" high flow cats on the car, and order a Lund Ngauge. I'm planning to have a local shop do the instal for me, since I've reconsidered wanting to do full cat deletes at this time.

Recommendations?

I trust magnaflow, but they have a crazy amount of options on Summit racing. So who do you recommend?

I ended up using a pair of Magnaflow 3" inlet and outlet cats, 200 cell and metal core, works great for getting rid of most of the gas smell which was terrible. Keep original cats for emissions in the future, no issues.

Do you know the part number is? I'm thinking 200 cell is what I want too.

We have some killer deals on high Flo cat headers and offroad if you're going to all that work. And then you still have your oem system still in tact

Thanks Terry, but I'm saving that header money for a beefcake special in the near future beefcake

High flow cats don't typically pass emissions. There is some made by GESI that would but they are on the expensive side compared too other high flow cats.

I have the Magnaflow 3" bullet cats as well. I dynoed before and after and only lost 1hp from the cat delete pipes to adding the HF cats. No smell issue and made it very slightly less loud.

Nice! Do you happen to know the part# that you used? Magnaflow makes so many dang cats, it's crazy. Also did you use the 8" ones?
