Looking to upgrade to a one piece aluminum driveshaft, I'm boosted and around 740rwhp, manual. DSS seems the popular choice, but how do the G-Force, Dynotech and Shaftmasters compare. TIA

I use dynotech ds’s, my previous Paxton car made 641/557 through a tremec magnum xl & a dynotech ds no issues. My current car is getting a PC d1x installed now and it has a dynotech. I will be at about 725 rwhp on pump gas!

Im at your power levels and also ran a Dynotech....worked flawless...broke everything at least once in the drivetrain except the shaft. Switched over to the TR6060 and now running the CF DSS shaft.

Well I like the QA1 CF shaft I have now. The build quality is unbelievable. I lost a DSS CF shaft - though it was repaired/replaced under warranty. The build quality is unbelievable.

You can see how the CF is woven really nicely. The billet ends are pristine (don't have a pic of that). They just paid really close attention to how the whole thing is put together which to me says a lot since it's just going to sit under the car and not be seen.

Not saying that's necessarily better than DSS - but have a look at how these things are built: http://www.hotrod.com/articles/the-lowdown-on-carbon-fiber-driveshafts-from-qa1/

Edit:
Also take a look at this video: [ame]

I have the DSS aluminum shaft and am happy with it. I only picked that one as I got a good deal on a used one from a forum member. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the popular choices.

I'm at 723 whp and use the DSS CF dampened 1 piece. Drives really nice and you'll definitely notice how much "lighter" the car feels when leaving in 1st.

My car had a decent amount of drivetrain vibration since day 1 with the stock 2 piece. The CF piece helped reduce this considerably.

CF if you do dig launches on slicks. Otherwise aluminum. In terms of which one - event he cheapest one available (Shaftmasters) is a good piece of equipment. DSS is probably the brand I personally trust the most, but... I have a Shaftmasters on my car, haha.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I can't go wrong with any of them. That QA1 video is interesting, I hadn't really considered a CF driveshaft, but may now.

My buddies GT picked up some vibration when he installed the DSS. Just saying it could go both ways, you could end up better or worse than OEM.
