One word- STEEDA. Not so long ago I would've said AWE Touring however the Steeda cans for the current gen are well made, sound awesome (no drone) and are comparatively dirt cheap to AWE.

Not quiet on a cold start. My neighbors have never complained about exhausts until I put that axle back on.

I've had 2-3 sets of Steeda cans on various Stangs. Never found them any louder at start-up than my FR500S cans but yes, loudness being subjective to the ear, I guess one might consider them loud at that particular point. I do love how the newest version sound tho- simply awesome & the price-point is amazing.

I think it’s the higher pitch/raspiness of them.

i can start my other car in the mornings and not hear a word from them, My other car should be louder, but it’s a lot deeper tone.

I never even considered the term 'raspy' or higher pitch w/any of my Steeda cans. Always found them to have a deep tonal quality.

mine sound good up to about 4000 rpm under load then just get very raspy and don’t sound that great inside the car. All that goes out the window on a cold start, with no heat in the pipes or the mufflers it sounds very different, very raspy at 1800-2000 rpm, just that initial bark. Is your car a gen 3 coyote?

Yes & didn't mean to mislead. I own a Bullitt, still have the stock active exhaust on this one. But in my past experience & ownership of Steeda exhausts, I don't recall your experiences.

I’m looking for a more mild volume catback. The ones I’m currently trying to decide between are the solo performance Mach xv, borla touring, awe touring, and arh. Which is the quietest and which is the loudest? Which should I get? And is there any notable quieter exhausts that I should be looking at (besides magnaflow street)?
Go with the Borla or the AWE, they are both great exhausts. Made with quality materials and sound amazing! We sell both here at www.lethalperformance.com. Many customers love those two they seem to be very popular.

How loud is the ark grip when compared to other exhausts like the borlas, corsas, and others?
ARK is going to be close to MBRP or Magnaflow but you’re getting 304 SS and Helmholtz with ARK Grip and I see special year end pricing.

That may end up being my end of the year purchase. I’m really a fan of those helmholtz exhausts and I think the ark grip is the quietest. Am I right?

I have a Ford Performance by Borla Extreme catback I am putting up for sale soon. It comes with an X-pipe but I also have the matching resonator that is a direct swap for the X-pipe. Its also made with 304 stainless steel, same as Borla. Send me a PM if interested.

Here’s the question that will basically decide which one I’m getting. Between the krona, corsa sport, and the solo Mach xv, which is the quietest and which is loudest? Hopefully this will answer and decide my fate
