Does anyone know where to buy cheap turn downs that will fit the ARH XPIPE?

Just go to an exhaust shop and have them put some on.

I think I am going to buy a bend and make my own. I will use the clamps from my ARH x-pipe.

I used a 3" U bend 6" radius . 3 3" vbands you can remove and install easier .
Did you remove them at the x-pipe? I was planning to just slide them in the ARH x-pipe and clamp them with the factory clamps. The initial plan was straight headers but I heard that will hurt torque.

I have vbands on my headers , my xpipe and after my resonator . Somewhat of a modular system . I used the vbands and turndowns to test my open header , xpipe and stock muffler data .

I ordered a bend from jegs. I am going to try turn downs after the pipe and seat delete for next outing. I am hoping for 11.2.

Aren't the hangers for the ARH system on the mufflers? If your going to put turn downs on the section the mufflers connect to the x pipe won't the entire system just be hanging?

You are correct but I am not sure that it matters it is just holding up the xpipe. It would be nice to make a couple of hangers that would go under the bolts in the trans mount.

I got the ubend pipe in from jegs and it is coated in oil and a black color. I thought I ordered an aluminized piece. It should still be ok for a temporary track item.

I tossed some hangers in to keep my stock resonator in place while Im waiting on some mufflers to come in. Sold my axleback and have to get to work!!! Its easy enough using whats available at any auto parts place and there are plenty of places to run those hangers to!

I am curious how loud the car will be with no cats or tailpipes. I am hoping to drive it to the track that way.

I only joined the convo because I had a similar idea with turn downs. Only problem was the hangers. I'm thinking of doing turn downs in the same location and fabricating two hangers to reach the rear and welding them to the x pipe. 1. Don't want sag 2. Don't want pipes to bend from heat which I kind of doubt will happen since most extreme heat is up at the headers but still piece of mind. Anyways I'm in for pics to see what you come up with!
