Can we legally use the red tint kits available for them?
That is what I am unsure of Daz....I dont really give a toss about being defected...it's just paying a bit of cash and a day at the motor vehicles dept getting it inspected.
But if it was involved in a prang, then the whole insurance and any injuries caper could become messy. I like those Anchor room tint kits...cheap enough and look good, but I am not sure if the consequences are worth it.
Having been involved in an accident previously and the endless amounts of interviews by the bodily injury insurance companies looking for any excuse not to pay, it is not worth the risk. They are like terriers after a rat for any indiscretions and it wasn't for any of my injuries and the accident wasn't my fault. It was for a third party.
It was a motor cycle accident, they scoured my wrecked bike for any non stock items...checked its service history, looked at all the gear that I was wearing...even the gloves, boots etc, and they arent legal requirements. They have lots of little clauses to allow them to not pay....recklessness is their favorite as it can cover anything....apparently even though helmets are the only legally required protective gear that you need...if you decide not to wear all the other gear like gloves, boots, jackets, etc, then you could be considered as reckless and their legal department will argue it all day.
I reckon that tint on tail lights might void policies if some idiot texting rear ended you.

ok..picked her up this morning at 9.30am

Dealer was also talking about the issue with the digital radio. Said that two dealers he had spoken to had tried flashing it this morning and it had put the car in limp mode and they were not able to deliver the vehicles.

anyhow..here she is

I took my EB on some windey backroads earlier today to test the handling. Its all good. Bags of grip, no movement on rough surfaces and a hint of oversteer. The paddles worked well but they really should be on the column and not the wheel.

Finally got the "4stanger"!
Arrived at about 7pm last night along with a Race Red GT.
Even though it was sitting at Prixcars in Brisbane with other Mustangs since last Saturday.
Dealer did a great job to have it ready for collecting this arvo.

Nice looking car, same colour I'm getting and given you have used NOVA Ford (I'm just down the road) I may get to see your car on the local roads.

How have you attached the front number plate?
