When is the first delivery to Oz?

Just had a phone call from a lovely lady at Ford Au.

My car is being delivered to my dealer on Monday.

Getting so close I can almost smell it!

She couldn't tell me what the dealer would do with the car, or how long they would need it for.

Looking good for a big magnetic V8 Christmas present. :clap2:

But no, there's already at least one other than Mr.3AW - "Frostee" on Whirlpool ("Mustang Returns to Australia, part 2" or something like that) knows a guy who got one.

So we have 2 in the country released to customers so far!

Do you have anymore info on the "personalised delivery experience" John ?

I only ever received one email from Ford to say "Your Mustang has set sail" which was sent 13 days after it sailed

Thanks. My car was on the Parsifal, and arrived in MEL on 2/12. After it's brief holiday in Melbourne, it then sailed back to BNE and arrived on the 9/12.
The lady from Ford was blaming a longer than expected delay due to processing by customs!!!

Who knows???

I don't mind feeling a bit of pain if, hopefully the process can be streamlined for everyone else!!!:clap2:

I just seen a notice that shows cars are about to transported to dealers here in Sydney & NSW. It shows two mustangs being delivered to Brad Garlick Ford (2.3L White & magnetic) and one for Thomson Ford (2.3L RR)
I believe that there are others too.

They will be picking the cars from the port holding area on the 19th December and the expected delivery the 24th Dec.

Edit: just found one for Peter Warren Ford Liverpool (2.3L, Magnetic) and one for Highway Ford in Raymond terrace (2.3 DIB)
plus a couple more for some other dealers - but it appears that they are all 2.3L - no GT's at this stage.

The Magnetic for Peter Warrens is my mustang! if they get picked up from Prixcar today at Port Kembla I cant see it take 5 days to deliver it 50mins up the road..........

EcoBoost doesn't have the line lock feature.
Could it be, it takes a bit longer to remove this feature?????
