was out in the car this morning (my office is close to the port) and on the other side of the intersection was a car transporter with about 7-8 mustangs off the Parsifal
They had white protective matting on the bonnets but looked great especially the red and yellow ones in the morning sun

My dealer said a customer vehicle is coming in early December, and the owner is overseas, so is letting them use it as a showroom vehicle for until he gets back.

I'll make sure I stop in and get some photos for the team

Going overseas and leaving your Mustang at the dealer when it arrives, that's just like leaving your kid in the car while you play in the casino

Had to go overseas for work apparently - no choice in the matter. But was kind enough to allow them to show customers - which I sure as hell wouldn't be doing.

Out of respect for that, I'm not going to blurt it out
But all the dealers will have something to show soon I bet!

Well its free if the seatbelt recall issue and supposedly at Baltimore waiting for a boat but that seems the same as "the cheque's in the mail"
Given the inexplicable delays some cars seem to have at the port, i'm not confident it will get on a boat in the next 2 weeks and then there's the Oberon which sails Dec 13 but doesn't come to NZ
My best outcome is the Tijuca sailing Dec 8

Just saw an Aus spec yellow mustang on the road driving home from Lorne in Victoria. Number plate was PONY. Someone is a lucky boy.

This car was originally sold by Mustang Motorsport to Elvira, it was originally an LHD and she can have the claim of owning one of the first S550s in Australia.

BTW: It was my understanding that the conversions done by Mustang Motorsport would have to stop once Ford started bringing the S550 in to the country, which I believe means that they can't convert GT350/350Rs, so unless Ford decides to, we're screwed.

I would assume that they could not import and convert Mustang Ecoboosts or GTs which are the models Ford Au is bringing in. However, as the GT 350/350R's are not models available in Australia, there shouldn't be a reason they can't bring them in and convert them, they are not competing with Ford Au for the same market as the market for GT350/350Rs doesn't exist in Australia.
