I would still drive regardless. If you can afford a 40k car, you can afford gas.
Besides, I drove a 16MPG 232hp rotary engine car though the $4 period, I am happy with my 18MPG 435hp.

Pulled up at my local Hobby Shop last weekend to get some model paint and the guys behind the counter got all excited because they had just got those in stock. They tried to sell me one, but I just looked at them and said, "Really? I'd rather spend my time in the real thing."

But to OP's question, I was driving an SN95 that got 16-17 MPG when we had $4+ gas prices. Didn't slow me down. I just spent less at the Mexican Restaurant or the pizza place.
No kidding, at that time, my son was at school and spilled something all over his shirt. I had to drive home, get him a clean shirt and take it to him and return to work. Cost me almost $20 in gas because he didn't want to walk around in a dirty shirt.

My work pays for gas and a car. 6 dollars a gallon wouldn't stop me.

my original post

I made the OP more or less in jest as I just wanted to show the link for the new R/C car for those interested in collecting 2015 Mustang memorabilia.

My kid would've stayed at school with his dirty shirt.

I might get this for my son. He turned 15 and thinks that he is going to drive my mustang now. I'll let him drive this instead lol.

Haha. I drove my 06 charger SRT8 and my chevy 3500 diesel back then. I'll keep driving the mustang (with supercharger) and my F250 diesel no mater what price is.

To be honest I have never looked or cared about gas price. It not like I'm not going to get it. Im going t buy it one way or another

When the fuel price goes back up to $4+ a gallon?? It's currently around $6 to $6.5 in Europe :p $6 is about the lowest is has been this year. So, no I wouldn't be driving my car any less :p

On topic: Cool RC car, the right color too!

I was paying $5 a gallon with our Toyota Sequoia getting an average of 11 mpg (cost near $100 to fill up), I guess Ill be fine with my Mustang getting 12.5 over the past 1000 miles. Good thing is I drive a 2004 Civic LX getting 35 mpg when it aint sunny.
