Wheel Spacers

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the Mustang scene and just purchased a 15 PP GT...has every option except recaros...I wanted the cooled seats.

I am going to be lowering the car and am a huge fun of the stock PP wheels. However from pictures I've seen post lowering, without spacers the setup does not sit flush with the fender.

What is the recommended spacer setup to have everything looking flush?

I have 25mm (1") spacers from Garageline. I LOVE the look and by adding the spacers, it makes me like the PP wheels enough to keep them. I hated how tucked in they looked without the spacers.

are there any problems with dirt and rocks getting kicked up along side the car with these spacers?

I've read that some people do have problems with debris being flung against the car. I haven't noticed any problems so far and I've got a little over 5,000 miles on my car so far. I do want to get the GT350 mud flaps for the rear just to help prevent any such issues.

If running stock wheels then 25mm up front and 23mm in the rear gets you perfectly flush. That being said running 25s all around is probably the more cost effective option as that's what is readily available.

If you get spacers buy splash guards. AM has some overpriced ones that fit and look really nice. You are driving a $40k+ car spend the $100 to protect the paint from road rash (future resale value)

Thank you. I got the stripes from Big Worm Graphix. Paid someone $200 to install them. Wasn't up for the challenge of doing it myself.

i'm in that battle too between wanting spacers since i'm lowering the car and scared of rocks being kicked up. Hmmm

Another question...just looking at it. Has anyone moved their rear performance pack wheels to the front with 275s then ordered replica wider ones to put on the back? Id like to get more rubber all the way around. Might solve the "flush" issue as well.

You can run 275 tires on the front PP wheels for a square rubber setup.

I could although I am looking to get something wider on the rear...maybe 295s...Im just wondering if I do buy the replicas say that American Muscle has, can you tell the difference or are they a 1:1 for the OEM
