Wheel question.

Probably going to be one of the stupidest questions asked on here, but I am confused. My 2016 GT Premium, bought two years ago used, has the window sticker saying 19" Premium Dark Stainless- Painted Aluminum Wheels. Are they stainless or aluminum? How are they made? Does this mean the barrel is painted and the "Showy" part is aluminum. Trying to figure out the best way to make them shine and to protect them. I am totally new to this, but in love with the car.

If I remember right, "Stainless" is the name of the paint color that your aluminum wheels are painted.
