Wheel grinding/rubing sound

Hello All,

So I took the factory 20' inch foundry wheels off my ecoboost and added them to my 2017 GT mustang that came stock with 18'inch wheels. Now I'm getting this weird grinding/rubing sound. The tire size of the wheel is 265/35ZR20 all around. I assumed this would be a simple bolt on and go. Is some sort of spacer typically needed with this wheel and tire combo? If so any link to one I would need ?

Torque the wheels to 148 lb ft? Sounds like one of the wheel could be loose.

No spacer needed, recheck the torque and also all clearances to strut just to be sure you dont have anything contacting which I highly doubt.

Check the thin metal dust shield behind your rotor. When I did the suspension I accidentally hit it (apparently) and bent it just enough that it would contact my rotor under certain situations.

I rechecked the torque on the wheels and no lose lugs were found. After looking at the rear wheels I noticed it looks like something is digging into the rear rotors see link (for some reason photo upload keeps failing):Maybe why I'm hearing a grinding sound.

Earlier I also noticed it sounded like it was humming. Any Ideas on that?

I'll look into the dust shield/strut tomorrow once there is more light. Really wondering why my brand new rotors looking the way they do.
