I ordered my 2015 Mustang with the aluminium SPARE wheel with tire. The tire size is T155/60R18, diameter is aprox. 25 1/2 inches overall. The wheel on the Mustang is about aprox 27 inches with P-Zero P235/50 ZR 18. Replacing a front tire with a miss-match is OK, what about the rear? what happens to the differential?. I have a 2019 on order and plan on driving it out west through the Rockies. I don't want to get stuck in the mountains 100 miles from the closest dealer.

nothing. You're driving on it only far enough to get the tire repaired/replaced. The limited slip is a clutch system that allows for some slip (to keep it simple) it s not a live axle like in a race car. You can always move a front to the rear if its that concerning. Pull the front off first put the spare there and then move the front to the back.
