Hey guys I'm new to the forums and I had a quick question about the wheel and tires setup I should shoot for. I plan on turning the car into a drift/track car. I was told that anything after 10" wide will not fit on the s550 v6s? So I was thinking of doing 19x9.5 all around was curious on everyone's opinion

P.S. I'm still a noob when it comes to offset and such...

Thanks in advance.

Also, I have the GT Performance Pack wheels on mine that I picked up in the classifieds on this forum. That's a good place to start looking for a cheap set of wheels and tires.

I was reading on that forum and I read a post saying people prefer the 20" because the 19s and 18s leave a wheel big wheel gap

19x9.5 is fine, I'm using 255/40 ZR 19 on 19"x8.5" AP Wheels. I decided on that with a square set up. That way I can rotate the tires every six months.

Cheers,

IMO the 18x10 SVE Drift are a great low cost track wheel. A 285/40/18 tire on that would work really well.

I'm planning on a coilover kit as well to pair with these rim sizes. What does et mean?

btw, the wheels all fit the same on GT, EB and V6, regardless of suspension packages

We've got a lot of really good 19" options for track that are specifically made for this platform and are flow formed or fully forged and will be much better than 37 knockoffs. Search Project 6GR for one example or MRR350s for another.
