...@projectwhitemare and anyone else that knows about this stuff how did you get the sky to pop? I took this picture with a DSLR but oily don't really know how to edit it (and I'm color blind lol): https://www.instagram.com/p/BAOOkJrSCBs/

You need to capture the image in RAW. RAW is the uncompressed original file format that you need.

Once you take the RAW image, upload it to Lightroom and make your adjustments.

There's a lot of adjustability, and it's easy to go overboard. Trust me, I do it all the time.

Just a small pointer, is if you remove some of the "highlight" and reduce the "exposure" a bit, you'll get a good starting point to make adjustments to the sky.

Do you remove the highlight and reduce exposure in Lightroom or on the camera? And why use are instead of jpeg? Sorry,I have no idea what this stuff means lol
