Okay I have a situation. I currently have my Ruby Red GT Premium with Redline Recaros on order at one dealership, who i have been working with for the past 4 months, and now coming to find out that my car will be delayed AGAIN with the hold Ford just released yesterday. I found a Black 2015 GT Premium with Ebony Recaro's at another dealership that is expected to arrive November 1st. Would you leave the dealer you have been working with the past 4 months, constantly calling to get updates, or switch dealers and get a 2015 GT Premium faster, still in a badass color, but without the Redline option. Need opinions!

I would stick with my dealer and get what I ordered unless they have not been helpful or even caused delays.

But that's just me

Are you going to have to pay a hefty premium to get that other car?

Are you sure you want to give up a custom order that you made for another car? You picked red for a reason.

You said your car was put on hold? At least you aren't waiting for your order to get processed. If your car was built and will be shipped soon, then just wait it out. Everyday you're getting closer and closer!

I'm still in the "In Order Processing" stage still so I have no clue when I will receive a VIN or build date.

Stick with your order. Or you can ask your dealer what is available, in stock, near by.

97% sure it will be delayed this week and 100% sure next week it will be delayed because of the holds being put on the 19in tires and then the hold on 5.0L with the 6-speed manual.

I'm actually debating about this too. Another local dealer is getting GT almost identical to my order. The difference is that my order has the premier trim and stock seats, the other GT has stock trim and Recaro seats.

So just change your order to an automatic with all-seasons.

I called Ford and got them to put in the 5.2 since the 5.0 was delayed. They were ok with my request.

Never hurts to ask...

To answer your question. I would wait because you then get the car you want and ordered.

I wouldn;t do anything until after the 16th then re-evaluate.

I thought about it to...I am going to stick with my original dealer just because they have been so helpful, especially with $500 less than invoice. Not only would I do them dirty, but I would have to go through the hasel of price negotiation again.

HOWEVER, if I dont see my car by thanksgiving, I will go and buy off the lot from the direct competitor. They seemed cool with that.
