Other than the shock/strut and springs that’s my setup. I’m doing the suspension now. Talk to me goose, what’s this setup like and what do you use it for?

To keep the rear on the road 655whp and future tracking. Its very stiff and bumpy. I am now one of those guys looking for potholes. Once on the free way it is planted and gives you confidence.

Basically running the factory Magneride given its calibration with springs and bars on the PP2. I've added or changed components to have more adjustability in suspension components plus lock frame assemblies and improve cooling just about everything. So stuff from Cortex, Steeda, Barton, Kelltac, Vorschlag, Trick Titanium, Setrab, Fragola, JLT Performance, Kooks, Optimum Performance, Girodisc, and Apex are what's on the car given track applications in SCCA Time Trials (TT3) and so on. I've recently added a Trufiber heat extractor hood and I often am influenced by fellow racers in IMSA with GT4 Mustangs and guys at Multimatics, Kohr Motorsports and Ford Performance and some Ford factory personnel.

Although I have not as yet installed the Steed Magneride springs I'm likely to keep what Ford has put in the PP2 suspension because it really works well. I've got factory Recaros but will take rear seat out and install Watson 4pt and get a OMP HTE-R seat with my Schroth ASM 6 pt. Harness. Yeah, too much information. Just add more adjustability to an already good suspension and keep everything as cool as possible on the track except tires. They need heat.

I’d be happy with GT350R “level”
Ford Performance has not published the spring rates for the "W" or "Y" springs. I even spoke to a Ford Engineer at the recent Woodward Dream Cruise about these springs.

If you want a GT350R this is the thread for you:

----------------
Post #2 in that thread. BmacIL is a mechanical engineer in the auto industry. He had a Mustang for many years, but bought a Porsche 911 and is no longer on the Forums.
"Route 2: BMR SP083 handling springs + FRPP track handling dampers. The dampers are GT350 monotubes with blue paint. The SP083 springs are very nearly GT350R rates (a little stiffer out back) and handle incredibly well. This combination rides and handles like a sports car. I did a trip to Austin and back with one of my best friends in his track pack GT350 and I was happy to feel how similar his and my car felt overall. The magneride was obviously a little better riding in some situations but really not that much.
Feel free to pm me for any questions. I daily drive mine."
----------------

I have the Ford Performance Track Dampers (fantastic dampening for both compression and rebound) with Steeda Minimum Drop springs (200/800), so very close to PP2 ride frequency.
Add Camber Plates and the Rear Upper Shock Mount. (I have Steeda)
The base upper shock mount has a binding rubber bushing that needs to be replaced:
Also: Eibach Bump stops

Also consider the "Front Control Arms Lateral Links w/ Extended Ball Joint" to correct the roll center from the 1.2" dropped height.
