2020 has to go down in the record books as the worst year in distant memory..... many of us count on the "dead of winter" sale, lol

I notice you started this thread in January of 2019. Did the winter sale materialize that winter or this last winter? If so, I’d be curious roughly when you saw the tires going on sale. I could stand to pickup a few more sets.

I’ve had my eyes open for cup 2 deals, have not seen one since late 2018 besides a eBay single deal here or there on used.

Im gonna look around in my area for a shop with that machine. I looked last year but had no luck Finding a shop.
the shop I use to mount tires on my regular wheels haven’t left one mark yet. im pretty sure they don’t have a touch less machine though.

My luck, the carbon fiber wheels will be the first time they good up !
Call Hunter Engineering and ask for the sales rep and tech in your area. They can tell you exactly who has one. That’s what I did and my guy even owns a 2018 GT350R, so I made a new friend at the shop too.

Not necessarily the best deal in the world, but not bad. Missed the Discount Tire deal at the beginning of the month https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/its-back-michelin-70-00-rebate.151828/

Compared Tire Rack; Discount Tire and Amazon. Amazon won--directly from Michelin.
Free shipping (big deal overseas) and best price (tax free--lucky):
- $347.99: MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport Performance Radial Tire-295/35ZR19/XL 104Y
-$327.99: Michelin 39527 Pilot Super Sport Performance Radial Tire - 305/035R19 102(Y)
Not bad for 104s and 102s.

Throw this one out there

Set of cup 2’s on Base 350, 2100 miles, one front one rear had to be patched due to screw punctures. Purchased 1 additional rear 305 - 1000miles ago no issue.
So basically there are three good tires, one 295, two 305’s.
One 295 with patch and 305 with plug. Both still hold pressure with no issue. Send me a PM if interested.
