Anyone on here use the Dunlop Sport Maxx or Continental ContiSportContact2? I haven't seen too much info out on either of them, and am interested for comparison's sake.

Also, if I'm not planning to track the car at all, what's the trade-off between the Pilot Super Sport and Pilot Sport A/S 3's?

well i jumped on MT's

with AM's discount code I ended up getting 2 255/35/20's and 2 305/35/20's. I hope I made right decision with 255 up front instead of the 275. The wheel is only 9" up front that I'm getting. 10.5 in rear for the 305's.

I'm actually hoping it gives it a slight raked look with fat ass with big 305s on the back. I would have just gotten the 275's but I ended up getting the 255's for like $180 a tire after the discount.

Think I'll regret the 255 up front at all?

Which discount code did you use?

I would be the NT05's are equal in dry traction to the MPSS. They are likely lagging in wet.

I would get the NT05's over the Invo's in a nanosecond.
Spent Saturday driving Z51 Vettes at a track day with Nitto Invos and
NT05s. If I was going to track the car move than just a time or two I
would get the NT05s. The Invos are a good daily driver tire with a lot of
grip while still allowing for a little sideways fun should one want. One
thing about the NT05's is that they are loud, but super sticky. The Invo was
much quieter and still offered good performance.

For what it is worth this was in a 15 Vette. Will give my impressions when
my wheels and tires show up in the next few weeks.

Coming from the tire business I personally wouldn't buy a MT tire outside the ET streets. Never been a fan of Cooper or Kenda which makes the Mickey Thompson street comp line. However it's America you can have your own opinion and buy what the hell you want. Cheers!

I ran Bridgestone S04 Pole Position tires on my 2008 350Z that I traded in when I got the EcoBoost. They offer an excellent combination of grip, dry and wet handling, tread life, ride quality, and noise. Check out the reviews. I plan to put these on when my Pirellis wear out. I firmly believe the S04 to be the best all-around tire I've ever driven. As always, YMMV. ;)
I just swapped out the backs on my GT PP. The P-Zero's lasted 3900 miles without hard driving. The fronts are like new still. So I will change them out once they wear out. The S04's made a major difference in the ride and handling just changing out the rears. With the P-Zero's I would need to change it to winter mode to get any grip in the rain or colder temps. But with the S04's I can keep it in Sport+ and still take off normally without wheel spin. It takes more effort to spin the tires in first and second unlike the P-Zero's. Tire Rack has a great price. :headbang:
