What is this little panel between the USB port and the 12V socket?

Pictures please ! I am interested in putting something in that area but I dont know what so I am on the lookout for ideas

Whilst we are in that area, does your 12v socket work and is that a ford standard blanking plug that's in it ?

In euro world we get a cigarette lighter but being a non smoker, I pulled it and replaced it with the (BMW) non smokers package :

Mine says Shaker, which incidentally is the most awful "premium" audio system I've ever heard. I had aftermarket speakers and amp put in and just ordered a blank plate to get rid of the branding.

Thanks for the offer but I do printed 3D models at work (I use Solidworks) and the finish on these parts are never "production quality" and difficult to match to the existing trim. I'm too picky maybe.

Yep, some days I wish we’d get annexed by our southerly neighbour just so that I could get a better deal on parts. That, and the fact that I was born 20 degrees too far north, and it would facilitate a permanent move.
