What do you think about GT/Ecoboost/V6 Mustangs with stripes? Poseurish? Tacky?

I love my factory stripes. White stripes on your blue GT would look great and would pop. I say go for it. You know you want to! YOLO!

And Ford's solution for accidentally ordering super snake stripes that were too wide to fit between the hood vents is genius!

Edit: I just realized they added a large horizontal rectangle of masking over the rear glass after they laid the stripes but before they re-cleared the hood, top and trunk. I'm guessing they must have had some blue get thru the original masking onto the glass and wanted to make sure they didn't have to also remove some clear from the glass.

Thanks. They did great work. But were ready to strangle me while I picked the shade of blue. They painted a bunch of cards with various blues I was considering but drew the line for Velocity Blue because it contained 3 different pearls and they didn't stock one of them and weren't going to pay a hundred+ for a container just to see if I liked the color. Fortunately, the Ford dealer had a few VBs on the lot. Guardsman was my second choice.

I’m a fence sitter . i Have been thinking of very subtle stripes.
perhaps a frosted glass clear over the white. Haven’t seen it before though

It is up to the individual. My 2013 is subtle with Sterling Grey and discreet black stripes on the side. My 2019 is flash with Orange Fury with black stripes. Both have won trophies at car shows, both are street driven. Mustangs stand out without doing anything but keeping them clean and polished.

Personally I prefer my car without stripes, Magnetic PP1 but the two exceptions I have is White cars with blue stripes or blue cars with white stripes. That’s my exception to the rule but for me I prefer to be in stealth mode because my driving already attracts enough attention from the boys in blue.

Stripes are a must for me but thats cause the 73 Mach1 i grew up in. I was going to pull the stripes off that ford put on and go with a Mach1 style stripe on my grabber yellow 21 but they are growing on me. I really think it needs a side stripe.

I have been thinking about adding stripes. But im on the fene with the style. I know i want them matte to contrast with the gloss on the car. My car is black. I need to find my old photshop program and start making mock ups. LOL

now that’s sick if it weren’t on the roof. those are just as close to some classic bandaid stripes , and that’s my fav. i’m not a fan of the factory stang stripe at all, but i’m a huge fan of 60s/70’s Chevy muscle, and my fav car is a 70 Chevelle SS 454. the bandaid stripes on that car just make me so happy everytime i see them lol so them on a stang would be awesome

Dirty little fact is most of the lesser Stangs will be driven harder than the top tier trim units.
I'm thinking the race stripe but done in peril as a ghost stripe .
I like the idea of the Daytona coupe look of blue and a while stripe, but I not sure about the look at me mr. police man that standing out with it will bring with it, and why the ghost stripe.
