"0% APR for 72 mos.
Ford Credit Financing
Not all buyers will qualify for Ford Credit financing. 0% APR financing for 72 months at $13.89 per month per $1,000 financed regardless of down payment (PGM #20740). Not available on Shelby GT 350. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 10/3/16. See dealer for qualifications and complete details."

Still good for a while. . . . But will it get better?

Ah I see it now. No it won't get better, in fact they don't offer 0% for 72mos very often.

You can combine certain cash incentives. I got an extra $500 with my 0%/72mos + X-Plan

Thanx, and the MCA membership (for $50/yr) gets me the "X plan" discount? Is a % or straight dollar amount? Love learning the little deal quirks . . .

My quest for a Shelby has crashed and burned. availability, price, and it just might be too much car for me. I think I will ease back into the "car guy" and get a GT PP. It should suffice my mid life crisis. I hope. :)

I'm going for a 16 due to the deals and financing promotion right now. The 16 GTs w/PP are few and far between.

got two in my sights.

1. Shadow Black - 401A, PP, Nav = MSRP 42,380 Listed $38,697.
2. Triple Yellow - 400A, PP, Security Pack, Nav = MSRP $41,475 Listed $37,604

This is NOT a DD. It will be my summer fun ride that i plan to mod up and maybe track.

I am m torn on the 401A vs 400A and wondering what price I should be aiming for. Much thanks guys!

I'd try to pull them down a little more if you could. I was quoted 36k for a 16 GT PP (400A), with Nav, Security, backup assist and premier interior. My OTD price ended up at 35,550 thanks to trade in, but pre tax/title/tags/dealer fees/you looked at the car fees/the car exists fees/oh look it rained yesterday fee, was 36k.

So these are going for 2k to 3k below dealer invoice?

What are your thoughts on the 400A vs 401A. For me it would really just be the upgraded radio I likely want. I like to jam when cruising.

Yeah, around that. As for the radio...meh. I had the sub system in my Focus ST and never thought it sounded great. The 400A system sounds fine, and while it does need some extra thump, that's easily remedied. JLStealth box and problem solved.

I have the 400A system in mine and I think it sounds fine. With the windows down on the highway I usually keep the volume about 3/4ths of the way up, and with the windows up the volume is usually about halfway. More than adequate for a stock system IMO. Plus sometimes I just turn it all the way down to hear the engine!

From what I hear, the biggest difference is the High Def Radio...some posts say there is a significant difference. The other items in the 401A have value as well.... blind spot sensor, memory seats

Has anyone on the west coast gotten $40k or near OTD on a Vert GT Premium? Found one pretty much stripped on a lot, new, with 100 miles on it (I don't think I care about that, should I?) We're about $3-4k apart right now, but I'm holdin' out. . .

Yeah, the other stuff in the 401A seems like I can do without since this is not a DD for me. I am leaning towards the TY as I dont see too many of them around. It is more of a head turner than the Shadow Black in my opinion. Thank you for the response!

I haven't used the FM radio in my GT yet, but if it doesn't have HD radio then that's fine with me. I hate that tech. Where i live it flips back and forth between HD and standard every few seconds and it is beyond irritating. Every car I've had with that feature that I could disable, I did. The 401A also gets 12 speakers (plus the sub) to the 400A's 9 (no sub) from what I can recall. You also get the memory seats...which is a feature I would have appreciated.

IMO, the 400A radio sounds fine, but it could benefit from a small sub in the trunk as far as I'm concerned.

no Problem, glad to assist. I see you are from Chicago, I am from Wisconsin and kind of in the same boat. I have been searching for a while and was hoping to find what I wanted in a 2016 base GT Premium (400A) with Leather (no PP for me). I have had to search at least 8-10 hours away to get close to what I want in the price I wanted. There were a few dealers locally, but they are low volume and waaay over priced. I have been going back and forth between the Ruby Red and Deep Impact Blue colors.. I also want something that is going to stand out color wise. Even considered Competition Orange or Race Red, but I don't know if i'd like those colors as much....My best search sites have been cars.com and cargurus.com good luck with the search and let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
