I have a good suggestion. Keep the Mustang and buy yourself a cheap second car. I just bought myself a 1999 Suzuki Jimny. Such an awesome little thing. Easy to work on it. Crazy cheap parts. Perfect for everything.I took it for a good drive for a change... and worryingly im not sure I still feel as much love for it anymore... Im down to using the mustang as my only car now and while its a good fun car and a lovely big GT for motorway trips, its not a great car for normal everyday life with kids, dog, crappy UK roads etc. As a sole car it just isn't making sense. :( Falling out of love with a car is not a good sign.
As someone who has owned both, I'll also say the Ecoboost was a better daily. Fuel economy aside, both engines have character; the EB was always lively and willing for any type of journey, the V8 just doesn't feel as enthusiastic for that quick 5 min trip to the shops lol. Almost as if it takes a while to wake up, needs to stretch its legs a bit more ya knowNot sure I fully agree with that my previous Mustang GT was used daily for my 50mile commute Birmingham city centre. It brought a smile to my face every time I drove it and even in the endless traffic jams I still enjoyed the presence this car has on the road.
MPG wasn’t the best but let’s be honest you don’t buy a V8 and look at the MPG figure !
Winter really doesn't help. I'm reluctant to take mine out over winter for obvious reasons. Really does get neglected for 3-4 months a year, so not surprised anyone would feel the way you are.Hopefully when the weather picks up a bit, I will fall back in love with the mustang.
Do you have anymore pics of the interior to hand, I’m keen to see more of what you’ve done as it looks good ?Running out of things to do so replaced some of my (already) replaced alcantara trim

Hiya,
These are the bits before I fitted them. I can get more in-situ on Friday afternoon.

Muffler delete only changes the sound not the emissions so it’s fineI had my first MOT this morning. Passed with flying colours (although i was a little nervous about the exhaust given it has had a muffler delete).
Have had the car 3 years today. 17,010 miles in total, but only 2410 last year as i've been driving my wife's 320d for most of the year as she's been WFH full time.
