Started making the built shortblock into a built longblock yesterday. I didn't get a picture with the cams on it, but they're not torqued down anyway I am waiting on the ARP cam tower bolts so I just put them in place with the old TTY hardware and covered her all back up.

We are about out of the season here. I notice you have one of the finest sno thros made. We sold Ariens for 28 years. Just pulled it out to get ready if needed.

Itā€™s that blaaah time of year, change the clocks (Iā€™ll be grouchy tomorrow), get gas for the snowblower, bring the snowblower in the garage and cover the cars.

It was nice out so I made some progress on wiring up my aftermarket sub setup. Even with the upgrades I did to the stock Shaker Pro sub, it still isn't up to my standards.

Installed Dynamat in the trunk. Got the LC2i Pro mounted and wired into the rear speaker connections.

Used this spare bolt hole under the stock tire inflator kit. Wire wheeled the paint off before bolting it down. After notching out the foam, the inflator kit fits like stock.

I managed to lose my 21mm socket... So I couldn't pull the front wheel to remove the wheel liner to have access to run the power line through the firewall where I want to. I'll get a socket and work on that tomorrow.

I also washed the car, but forgot to take a pic afterwards as it was starting to get dark.

Iā€™ve had the snowblower for 19 years. Very happy with it.
When I had it serviced I was looking at Simplicity snowblower and thought of trading it in, the guy told me to keep what I have! The thing is a monster even in heavy wet snow. I had to add flames on it. :)

I went and looked at one this morning for a minute too, only because I havenā€™t seen one in person yet. I will say I really dig the looks and it sounds really good (they wouldnā€™t let me drive it unless I was going to buy it). But a $71k sticker with a $10k add-on is a pass. Iā€™ve never seen Atlas Blue on a Mustang (seen plenty of Explorers in AB), itā€™s a really nice color.

Atlas Blue is slightly different on the Mustang too. Two different suppliers make that color for Ford, and which one they use depends on the vehicle. I have an Atlas Blue Explorer and an Atlas Blue Mustang, and 20 feet apart you probably wouldn't notice, but right next to each other, they're slightly different. Pretty sure the F-150 got the same one as the Explorer.

Washed and stored for winter. Thinking of ordering a few things like rear upper control arms and long tube headers with cats. Added a Stainless works redline series catback with active before putting it away. Sounded nice but may upgrade the h pipe to a corsa double helix.

Early hibernation I'm seeing. Drive until first salt or brine hits the street. Then it's sleep time.

In the two years Iā€™ve owned it, Iā€™ve only put 7000 miles on it. I use my Tacoma for work and Iā€™m always on the road. I barely have time to drive it. It sucks but it is what it is, my friend tells me to sell it to him and I consistently tell him no.

I hear ya. Had mine for 18 months only have 3200 on mine. Mid-west winters keep mine from going out. But pending weather I've taken it out my old one in mid Dec before.

Prepping for Road Atlanta in two weeks.

Oil change and transmission fluid change today. One of the cleanest oil changes today but the messiest transmission change lol. Canā€™t win all.

Also added Ford Performance tie downs so I donā€™t have to rely on the uhaul transport straps.

Brake bleeding and clutch fluid change tomorrow or Tuesday

Bout another vehicle so I don't have to rely on the Mustang to get to work consistently in the cold, potentially nasty weather. Also so I can leave it apart like so without having to rush anything.

Yesterday, I installed a Saleen decklid panel on Maggie. I got an amazing deal I couldnā€™t pass up. Including purchasing the parts, trim removal plastic tools and some socket sizes and shipping from American Muscle, I only spent $70) I love how it transformed the rear. It feels so good to challenge myself to install it myself and do it successfully. It was a lot of work but I pushed through. (fyi- I have cerebral palsy left hemiplegia)
