You missed the point . An aftermarket shifter that is transmission mounted will relieve the tendency for gear lock out under hard use .

I don’t believe that negates the benefit of a transmission bushing insert, but whatever you say chief.

Back story , my dad bought it new in 97 . He passed about 10 years ago . It has basically been setting since he bought it . Mom is cleaning house so to speak, come get it if you want it .........hell ya I'm up for a 24 hour road trip . Can you say barn find , at less then 1k miles . And the trailer to boot .

Congrats on the Prowler btw, that car has been an eye grabber to my dad and I since it was first released. Very unique car-

Everyone complains about it having a V6 but it's got plenty of scoot and it sounds pretty dang good! You'll get a lot of attention driving it these days.

Transmission mounted shifter won't prevent transmission from moving around due to crappy bushing. @trackmusis right that they compliment each other. It's just $50 part that makes sense to install if one already putting in MGW.

The tremec is used on the sportier models so to speak, it’s possible the transmission mount is already solid on those cars?

Just wondering if the upgraded bushing was needed for the Tremac 6 speed. Maybe the mount is already upgraded from the factory, it woukd explain why it doesn’t appear available.

I see. Probably not needed, as it's highly rated for it's shifting precision "out of the box"

Took two days of owning the car before I got to it, but I removed the extra filter in the intake.

I drove @JPJr 's brand spanking new Mach1 still covered in shipping plastic to the PPF/paint-correct place to do their magic.

I kept putting my foot through the floor looking for the clutch pedal every time I rolled to a stop.
