Welp, after today I can say that the guy that did the work on my car is an expert.

I ended up sticking with NTB and the store manager there who did the work has been putting on rims for 15 years and has worked with a variety of tire and rim combinations. Not one scuff mark was on my rims when he was done. It took all day for whatever reason (chain store, high volume, they're closed tomorrow due to Easter Sunday), but he didn't mess my stuff up, he took his time, and it all fit with no other parts needed to make it all work.

He straight up told me he'd rather be the one to do it because he knew the other guys in the shop wouldn't care as much as he did. So for that I gave him my appreciation and a tip for giving a damn.

Again for those who haven't seen my other posts in this thread, these are straight from the Ford catalog, their PP2 sized rims, 19x10.5 fronts, 19x11 rears wrapped in Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ tires, 285/35/R19 in the rear, 275/35/19 in the front.

The tires aren't as wide as you find on the PP2 but they look amazing in person.

Gonna clean the car up tomorrow and put a post in the wheel thread.

No problem! My goal here on M6G is to create posts that are as detailed as possible so that someone like me who has lurked forever via Google searches who is looking for information can eventually run across one of my posts and can hopefully have all their nagging questions answered with as few tabs open as possible. I am overly analytical and I’m sure I’m not the only one haha. I know how it feels to hunt for information and not turn up a complete answer so I try to be detailed as possible.

That's me too.

Great shine, any Ceramic coating done?
No. Turtle Wax Ice this time. Hand washes only, with occasional u-do-it spray off when too cold. Car was blessed with an orange peel free paint job. Just turned 20k mi.

Took the opportunity to wash her again. It had been two weeks so she was due. Applied Cali Gold wax and have been going at it since 9am. Still need to do the back quarter of the car but so far so good:

Washed the car today and put tire shine on my new wheels I got installed yesterday. Took some photos that show the poke from the front and rear.

Don't worry, I took the green stickers off.

Once again for clarity these went on without any extra parts like camber plates and they didn't require any finagling so that they wouldn't rub. I fully locked them both directions while moving and they were fine.

I think next in order is a tune and after that some suspension parts. Still not going to the track any time soon but it'll happen eventually.

Bras, definitely are handy when traveling. I have the Sports Bra....Novistretch for the front end and mirrors. I've got PPF and Ceramic, but will still run the bra when on road trips.

I put on my bra!(no not that one) on my GT/CS for a trip to Salt Lake City from Vegas.

She hadn't had a proper bath in a few weeks and pollen had crept through the garage door, so was time for a good bath.

I feel you on that one. I made a drive from CO to GA last month and paid those prices. Leaving next week to drive back to CO and not looking fwd to those prices. I did get lucky and find a Sam's for one of my stops on the way.
