Was it very loud or just audible? And by any chance did it make a popping nosie too? I've been getting a rapid popping noise from my rear end while accelerating at slow speed up to about 15mph then it stops. Not very loud but definitely noticable. Wonder if I'm having the same issue.Grinding/rubbing noise from the rear end when turning and accelerating at low speeds, like pulling into or out of a parking spot. The tech called me after they looked at it and said the diff was “”just a howlin”.
Wonder if my dealer would cover it since my bumper to bumper warranty has expired but I still have about a year left on my power train warranty.
