Grinding/rubbing noise from the rear end when turning and accelerating at low speeds, like pulling into or out of a parking spot. The tech called me after they looked at it and said the diff was “”just a howlin”.
Was it very loud or just audible? And by any chance did it make a popping nosie too? I've been getting a rapid popping noise from my rear end while accelerating at slow speed up to about 15mph then it stops. Not very loud but definitely noticable. Wonder if I'm having the same issue.

Wonder if my dealer would cover it since my bumper to bumper warranty has expired but I still have about a year left on my power train warranty.

Got new wheels and Steeda jacking rails delivered today. Had planned a weekend of installing rails, painting calipers ford blue but then this happens. Opened up wheel boxes and holy cow a few dings nicks rubbed spots on all 4 wheels ouch! Only solace I got was parking the Mustang beside the new lighting blue ranger lol. Maybe next weekend.

I wonder if the seller would agree to pay for you to have them re-powder coated rather than eat shipping and still having to fix them. You'd get custom color for just the time to pick them up after powder coating.

I'm definitely interested in this. Have you installed it yet? I've got the Steeda struts installed so a pull handle might not be enough and I'd have to use the trunk lid anyway.
so, i didnt use the traditional mounting location, however i did get the trunk pull strap installed, required a dremel and about 10 min of grinding on the metal bracket the strap attaches to.

it hangs fairly natural and doesnt put any abnormal pressure on the trunk liner or plastic cover for the trunk latch, and its pretty inconspicuous. i gave it a few test runs and i think it'll work well, we'll see over time if it puts undue stress on the plastic latch cover, but i dont think it will.

Today i mounted my Lund NGauge with the windshield mount, applied the 91-93 tune, CEL came on after, used the NGauge to check the code, it was P0315, did a quick forum search, did the crank relearn to lose the P0315 code, and went for a little drive. Sent the logs to Lund for review and made this post. Great morning so far!

Very cool, but I have no idea where to buy Hyundai parts. Where did you get yours?

Edit: Excellent beer choice!
i stopped locally at a hyundai dealer near me, but they didnt have it in stock, so i ordered online from https://www.wholesalehyundaiparts.c...LY---TAIL-GATE-PULL/8556519/817922B000HZ.html turns out they are in lakeland FL (About 40 min away from me) i almost drove down to get it, but just paid for shipping instead.

re: beer, thanks! sierra nevada pale ale is pretty much my go to, or just about anything by sweetwater, or lagunitas if it happens to be on sale.. i like my beers hoppy :)

Had to break the wheels and tires down to put in the TPMS sensors that American Muscle "forgot" to install when they sent me my wheel/tire package. Now I'm reading correct pressures and no "low pressure" light. What are yal running? I got 35 in the fronts and 32 in the rears.

I've been debating to get these or not. I was really close to pulling the trigger but then didn't. I think i won't use it much but every time i need to lift the car like a few days ago to rotate tires i wish i had bought them. LOL
