What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

ripped the driver-side rocker panel off my car when i hit a concrete median dodging a semi-truck making an illegal left turn... ugh! fortunately neither me nor the truck driver were injured and we were both thankful it wasn't worse. after seeing the damage, i went straight to the dealership body shop for an estimate and they ordered the replacement parts. was told parts will be at the shop on Wednesday and, if no delivery delays, car will be fixed by Friday, the 15th and i'll be out of $800. so... no cruising this weekend.

Did my first oil change today. The car I bought sat at the dealership for 15 months before I bought it. And I am pretty positive that the factory fill is still in the engine. So I had purchased an EZ-Drain valve so that oil changes will go easier. So here is the pic of the car on my Race Ramps

I do not have a pic but I attached my shop vac to the oil fill and turned it on. This allowed me to remove the factory drain plug and not lose any oil. First time of me doing this and it actually works. Here is the EZ-Drain valve setup

So I removed the drain plug and installed the EZ-Drain

Major benefit is being able to drain directly into my waste container without making a mess. No more transferring the oil from drain pan into the waste container. Here is a pic with the valve closed and the cap installed

Here is the oil filter that was removed. I installed a FL-910S. Is this removed filter the OEM filter or did my dealer actually change the oil. I assumed I would see a Motorcraft filter on there.

I also was trying to remove the black pony emblem from my rear decklid panel and ended up cracking the panel. Had to buy a new panel and got this one.

So yeah a busy day. Next up is a chrome pony for the grille. Gotta wait for that to arrive though

Yes, that photo is the factory installed oil filter.

For those that don't know, the 4-cyl Ecoboost takes the FL-910S while the Coyote V8 takes the FL-500S. They have different threads (3/4-16 vs 22 mm x 1.5 mm pitch).

Looked at it sitting lonely in the third stall in the garage. It was a beautiful day here in KC, and was planning on a nice cruise. The wife had me trimming bushes. Ended up not going out at all. :frown:

We went to the grocery and after to get the Mail, I see a couple cops on the way home. Mailman was still at the box, so I went to the house, unloaded groceries and left to cruise for a few minutes then pick up the mail and enjoy my weekend. Snow Birds have arrived so the stupid is pretty thick.

So I leave and there is a cop in the hood, no big deal. Then 2 going the other way red lights, me and 50 other cars stop, ok. I get up to a place to turn around, another cop. I head home, no problem. The cop at the turn around, behind me, not a bad follow actually.

I get back to the Subdivision, short the signaled intersection, turn into the Sub up to the Mail box, a Different cop goes by.

Hhhmmm.

Added some aero parts to the rear diffuser and gained +100hp.

Same textured plastic as the OE 2018 diffuser, and fitment was perfect. I bought my own black hardware, so that from the underside it also looks factory.

Very pleased. If you are wondering about the photo location, I did the install whilst at work... nothing beats getting paid whilst installing mods on your 'Stang :-D

Looks great. Can you post up details of the parts specifically the outer diffuser as I’d like to source these for mine ?
