I dropped my GT off at the dealership for an issue with the tail lights. While waiting I checked out a GT350R in the showroom. The ADM or “market adjustment” as they called it was $40,000 making the price $111,000.

Installed Ford Performance hood strut kit and Steeda vertical links on the IRS. Will be upgrading to Infinity speakers tomorrow. Hopefully next week or two, will have it on the dyno to see if the Whipple Stage 1 is legit!

...went around the car twice I’m bleeding, but the pedal feels awful; softer and less feedback than stock. Going to bleed again in the am. Any other ideas?
Yes.

Your front calipers have inner and outer bleed screws, 6 total (including the rears) on it, 4 in the front or two per front caliper. You need to comb the interwebs and find the precise bleeding sequence. It's not like other brake systems, you have to bleed them in a specific sequence to get the system air-free.

I did Inside then Outside x3 for each one and it felt better. Again a little better yesterday with more driving

Brilliant! I was gonna add a red LED strip to light mine up but now I'm totally stealing this idea

Isn't that the same corner that Focus RS failed to driftmode around?

Edit: Yep
<SNIP>
I think they forgot to engage drift mode and/or when in way too hot looking at that??

I reckon doing drift mode in the RS would be pretty fun, but personally i'd be doing it at a lowish speed. Looks like it could be a real nasty bend for those not respecting it fully

Dropped it off at Ford to have my rear driveline clunk diagnosed before I install my headers. Turns out my driveshaft was faulty and it's a common issue. New driveshaft is booked to go in on the 18th and headers on the 20th all covered under warranty.

I’m using this mount as well. I’m very happy with it 2 years in. I love your plate, btw
Thanks I appreciate it. I had watched the movie several years ago and really liked it a lot. The movie fit the theme of what a mustang is all about. The arabian stallions in the movie were like the ferrari's of the world, and the Mustang beat them in the long distance race....

Did the clutch & shifter install today with the help of 2 buddies, all issues resolved and everything went smooth. Oh, and had some special help today.
That's the way to install an after market shifter!! none of this crawling under the vehicle with a angled extended socket wrench! :thumbsup::like::muscle:

TIme for some interior Mods. I started with the GT350 Start Button, and the MMD Start Button Cover. The start button was a bit of a challenge as I had difficulty getting the original button off. I think I was a bit worried that I was inserting the small pick tool too deep. Ended up scratching the original start button but will most likely not be putting it back on. The GT350 start button is a bit of an over used mode, but I like the way it looks compared to stock.
The Start button cover was a different matter. I really did not like the color and hue of the red plastic. To me it looked cheap and out of place in the cabin interior. A bit in your face. I actually contemplated returning or reselling for a while. My daughter suggested that I paint it to match the black interior. I actually had some matte black spray paint in the basement from another project. As soon as I put the first coat on the start button I knew I was on to something. It turned out great! A hint of red underneath a very stealth looking start button cover. View attachment 302524 View attachment 302525 View attachment 302526

For anyone looking for a more comfortable seating position I highly recommend a clutch pedal extension. The modern Billet Clutch Pedal extension from American Muscle is a solid piece of equipment. Slides unto the clutch pedal frame and then the cover inserts over this extension. Allows a shorter person to sit back a bit more and not feel so pressed into the steering wheel. I drove my vert home from the dealership without the extension and it was the first mod I did as soon as I got home.
