Put my engine cover back on. Was going to order 1 from JLT but got one from a member here that he painted/cleared the grey areas to black. I took off the silver 5.0 emblem & replaced it with a black one.

thanks. you saved me from doing what you had already done. hung the factory one in my garage. Might try to paint it blue at some point! edit: just ordered black coil covers, will be selling my blue ones in a few days.

And believe it or not I hope the heavy wheels slow the car down a little bit. Can't see how you could get used to 435 hp in a GT. As a weekend street racer? Sure. As a daily driver? Scary stuff.

That's kind of the beauty of all that power and V8 torque. You don't have to get on it all the time. Even at half throttle or less around town it pulls away from 95% of other cars easily.
And then for those occasional moment where you need/want the full fury, it's just a slight push of the right foot away

I already have the Ford Racing Boss 302 blue coil covers. They are too light. Replacing them with all black FR coil covers & selling the blue ones.

Did some final logging last night with E85 (Actually E68) in the tank and sent the file off to Dakota to check over everything. If it all looks good, then I should be all set. I thought this thing felt great with the off the shelf FF tune I had, but now it just seems to have another level of fast up top. I'm not sure if the 47lb injectors are helping with that feeling, or if this custom tune is just that much better.
