Nope, this is the first set of tunes I was sent. I'm going to get my car inspected today before I load this stuff up and send some logs over.

Can you tell a difference between the two tunes? I have read the E85 tune for our cars is a noticeable difference. Yours with the exhaust should really come alive.

I'll flash it after I get my car inspected so I don't have to mess with that for another year. 93 won't be much of a difference but E85 will. I'm real curious to know what the redline is.

Found a set of Michelin tires and got them mounted to my rims. 305’s in the front and 315’s in the rear. Car looks so much more aggressive now. Also swapped the air intake with the blue Airraid one.

It certainly doesn’t affect any emissions compliance and it seems that if it were a good thing here it’d be a good thing there.

I think it’s something to do with pedestrian impact laws here. The brace wouldn’t allow the hood to deform as much should someone land on it.

I test fit my zl1 tow-hook, installed the Ford Performance/Airaid filter and Diode Dynamics smoke side marker and interior LED kit

I really like your orange tow hook.

Needless to say it will look great on my FJG car!

Have you been able to feel any difference with the airraid filter yet?

I have not. I literally put the wheels/tires on and the filter and then stuck it back into the garage for storage. Won't be driving it till about next April unfortunately.

What did I do to it today? I looked at it. certainly cannot drive it. 40 degrees and raining. But I did take out the '86 Bronco. she did well enough, still needs to get into the shop for a good professional look-over and aftermarket EFI tuning. My Mach 1 is the fuel efficient vehicle lol.

Lol, yup I hear that. My 4.2L ‘86 CJ7 makes my M1 look like I care about fuel economy.

Battery tender installed. I have done now 4 times. Each time I sell / trade in the car I always leave the hardwire for the tender and radar detector..and have to buy those parts new.

Looked high and low for a cordless radar detector. Seems like they all have power cords anymore? Where did you install the wire/detector on the dash?

So I flashed the Wengerd Performance 93 tune just a bit ago and went for a drive. There was a lot of traffic so I had limited areas to get on it. First initial thoughts:

1. Sounds different. I expected that as most tuned cars do. No pops and backfires on idle revving.

2. Smoothness. The best way I can explain it is the shifts are all smoother including leaving from a stop. That was the first thing I noticed right away.

3. Power feels about the same. I expected this as well. If anything it improves on the stock tune's shortcomings to make everything better about it but don't expect a large power difference if anything.

I asked him about what the redline is set at and if the cold start logic was turned off too. I didn't notice that on startup but my car was still warm when I flashed the tune.

I'm hoping to get more time to test this and E85 soon but it's going to be in the teens temperature wise this weekend so it may have to wait a bit. So far, so good!
