What changed after 2/24/16 ?

I was reading up on M-12029-M52 - Ford Performance Hi-Energy Ignition coils and noticed it says "Fits all 2/24/16 through 2017 Mustang GT and F-150 5.0L 4V Coyote Engines.", so what changed to make these compatible ? - I'm curious as mine was built only a few weeks before this.

I think a positive and negative coul wire were switched.
