What car is that?

Might be interesting post... might be crap... but wondered what people think your car is.
Parked mine right outside a shop today and guy came out after a few minutes and said he and his mate had a bet... looking at the profile he thought my car was a Mustang while his mate said it was a Ferrari.

Elsewhere I've also had the front grill emblem mistaken for a prancing horse.

Ferrari, helped by having a pony on the back rather than GT. Only been called a Jag as an insult, as in "they're just another Jag now" by a Moaner (he's been in a minority of one though). What has impressed me is the number of cool, smart, intelligent, sexy etc people who know exactly what it is straightaway even if they haven't seen an S550 before. Shows Ford got it right.

Had the Jag comment, but it was in a nice way, just someone who didn't know cars (female, not that all females don't know cars :lol' 'Ooh, I like your car, really nice Jaguar', was the comment.

My works car park is between two platforms on a West Coast Mainline station, there's been more photos taken of it than I could count, every time I step off a set, there'll be someone peering in the window

Great sense of occasion when I come through the electric security gates and drive along the platform, everyone's head turns in the direction of the Muzzer, then I climb out :lol:

Lass and Lad working the McDonalds drive through:
"What is that?"
Me: "Its a Mustang"
"I've never heard of Mustang. Is that some kind of specialty brand?"
Me: "No no, its the Ford Mustang"
"THAT'S A FORD!? I thought they only made shitty Fiestas!"

Woman at my gym
"Excuse me but is that your coupé outside?"
Me: "The black one? Yes its mine."
"I have no idea what it is, but its absolutely gorgeous!"

Guy and his son at the Metro Centre
They were looking around my car in the car-park.
Me: "I see you like my car!"
"What is it?"
Me: "Ford Mustang GT"
"I thought it had something to do with a horse!" :headbonk:

Dropped my dad off at the footy stadium
Drove back with the windows down and, as expected, hundreds of people walking on the pavements as I drove off in the other direction sending comments my way. For a good few miles it was just a constant stream of:
"Woah its a Mustang!"
"Is that a Mustang?"
"Is that the new Jag? Nah mate I think its a Mustang"
"What the fuck is that? Sounds like a beast!"

Maserati driver pulls up beside me at the traffic lights
We're talking full middle-management douche bag.
Some kids walk past our cars, look at both of our cars and scream at the top of their lungs:
"ITS A FORD MUSTANG!"
"OH MY GOD ITS A MUSTANG!"
The Maserati driver was very non-plused :lol:

Jealous boyfriends

• Lad in a Mazda 3 Sport (not the MPS, just one with a bodykit) drives past pulling a decidedly frowny face as the two lasses in his car drop the windows and take photos of my Muzza. :lol:
• Same with a woman in her man's Astra GTC. He also looked non-pulsed as I could lip-read her saying "oh my god its a Ford Mustang!" Proceeded to take a photo.
• Was driving to the hospital for visiting hours and with the windows down I could hear a woman going "Is that a Ford Mustang?" With her husband/boyfriend replying "its not THAT nice". "Shut up yes it is." :lol:

The Police
Me in the slow lane on the Motorway to let a Police Astra Estate drive by. They then overtake me and the Policewoman in the passenger seat with the BIGGEST grin on her face snaps photo. It was surreal to the say the least.

I was following a white Audi TTS back from Beaumont last summer and a report came on the scanner that someone called in a racing incident on I-10 between a white Porsche and a black Mercedes. Might not have been us but I pulled over and got a sandwich anyway.
