As you've said, you can literally walk into a showroom where you are and get one delivered next week. I waited 10 months from ordering, which is quite 'girly' compared to others on here. So it might be more difficult for this brigade to appreciate the thoughts of leaving a car on a compound, just up the road for another 3-4 months
